Professional Development

South Eastern Sydney Illawarra Health is committed to accommodating the learning needs of nurses and midwives in ways that are professionally appropriate and relevant to both the health service and the individual.

  • In-house continuing education, run in all of our hospitals, helps our nurses and midwives keep up-to-date with the latest equipment, treatment modalities, clinical practices and procedures and explore relevant issues associated with the workplace.
     
  • Professional development takes several forms and includes short courses, seminars and conferences conducted both within our hospitals and externally. Contact the hospitals directly for more information.
