Rates of Pay for Registered Nurses and Midwives in NSW

The majority of registered nurses and midwives are required to work rotating shifts and are paid overtime and penalty allowances. In general terms this equates to a further 28% on top of the minimum base salary.
Note: For the purposes of salary determination, documentary evidence substantiating your previous employment experience as a registered nurse or midwife, including commencement and finish dates, job title and number of hours per week employed, must be provided to employers.
