Find out About Nursing and Midwifery
Workplace Learning/ Work Experience
Workplace learning / work experience programs for school students provide opportunities to see and experience first hand what nursing and midwifery work is all about. Such programs are designed to provide a unique opportunity to explore the numerous nursing and midwifery roles within our facilities whilst exposing students to the clinical environments in which nurses and midwives work. Nursing and Midwifery are regarded as highly rewarding professions which offer strong employment opportunities and a unique career structure which enables you to specialise and advance your career in so many different directions.
Please note that, as a pre-requisite to undertaking workplace learning programs such as work experience, students must comply with the requirements of the NSW Health Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination Policy and, at their own cost, provide evidence of protection against all specified infectious diseases and documentation of their TB status.
Hospital tours
